Doggone It: The Annual Canine Carnival Is Happening In July

  |     |   Local Events

We love our canine companions here at The Clayson, so we wanted to highlight a very dog-friendly event coming up this month. It’s not too often dogs get their very own carnival!

Palatine Parks District will host its annual Canine Carnival on Thursday, July 29 from 6 pm – 8 pm at Fred P. Hall Amphitheater (256 E. Palatine Road).

This year’s event will feature local businesses and sponsors supporting the cause and offering their services, food, and drinks. Plenty of activities are available for dogs and their owners, including games and a full vendor section. Souvenir photos will be included with a raffle ticket for prizes, as well as a goody bag for the dogs.

One owner can join each dog, with additional people, or those without dogs are able to register for $1. Even if you don’t have a pup, you can still come to support the canine cause!

6:00 pm • Large Dog Event (over 35lbs)

7:00 pm • Small Dog Event (under 35lbs)
